Asperger's Syndrome

my name is claire and i was diagnosed wiv A S 1991 but only found that out 1 month ago wen my girlfriend of 2 yrs was addiment that i had A S as she has alot of work experience. with alot of support from her i approached my doctor who explained to me that i had been diagnosed in 1991 wiv a different thort process/AS and now im very scared of my feelings the awareness is over whelming 4 me. im glad that i can put my past behind me but am scared of wot the future holds and i just need help in understanding why i dont ever fit in and why my loyalties are so different and realise now that sometimes people have been laughing at me and not wiv me, i feel abit of a fool.
