I live in NC but I'm moving to Oregon this month. I just turned 40 but I feel 20 or so. I was diagnosed with Asperger's three years ago. I have a good support network of other aspies and I am dating an aspie. We both also have bipolar disorder, controlled well with meds. I like writing poetry and short stories. I've written a book that was published when I was 26. I do charcoal drawings. I've made about 70 videos for YouTube, mostly about Asperger's Awareness, etc. and some personal ones. I play scrabble and chess. I have an incredible cat named Magnus and I draw and collect white tigers. I have two master's degrees that I got when I was 21 and 23, but I haven't been able to build much of a career. I've worked as a casemanager and a special education teacher. Currently, I'm on SSDI and I provide on-line tutoring for students.

by caroline butler 10 months agoHi Laura !! being 40 ???? hardly any change just few more lines otherwise no difference ... as a person Im enjoying life & making most of any free time i get .. learning as an adult iv enjoyed so "life begins at 40" well maybe It does for some as for me Im carring on the same as when 39 (not much change from when 18) Loving it !!!
